It is in challenging times like these that we hope we can truly demonstrate to you how committed we are to our core values of Trust, Compassion, and Community.
At EWM, we have developed plans to ensure business continuity under many different difficult circumstances; we are now implementing those plans. In order to do so, while also following the recommendations of the CDC and our government officials, our staff remains available during regular business hours from the safety of their homes.
You can call any office or email your advisor, or any team member directly. We encourage you to visit our Facebook or LinkedIn pages for timely updates from our office.
Defending and Advancing
We want to assure you that we remain diligent in monitoring the financial markets and will continue to execute trades that we think will best defend our clients' capital.
We will also remain vigilant in looking for signs that equity markets are regaining strength so that we can help build and advance our clients’ holdings when the opportunities present themselves. We will keep you updated on any major market and model change through emails similar to this one.
Comforting Words for Our Community
Finally, we wish to acknowledge the example of English singer Dame Vera Lynn. On the occasion of her 103rd birthday last Friday, Dame Vera sent a video message to the British public and the wider world on the importance of coming together as a community and maintaining a positive outlook during difficult periods.
Confronted with a far more daunting situation in her youth, she received several commendations for her bravery while entertaining troops in various dangerous warzones during World War II. We leave you with her most popular song of that era, whose sentiment we hope comes true much sooner than predicted. Watch her share her song here.
