World Championships of Hide and Seek
In important sporting news, the ninth annual Nascondino World Championships of Hide and Seek were held recently in Consonno, Italy. Started by a small group of friends in 2009, the weekend-long contest has become the preeminent event to feature adults playing children's games, even surpassing the Hopscotch Invitational and the World Cup of Duck,Duck,Goose in media attention and prestige. Most of the contestants attributed their advanced skills in the game to spending a lifetime fleeing and hiding from schoolyard bullies, small dogs, and imaginary hobgoblins. Unfortunately, despite all the positive press, this was the third year in a row that the championship trophy went unclaimed due to the fact that no one could find the winner.
